How to choose the cone crusher liner?

The lining of the cone crusher is prone to serious wear due to frequent strong impact. This will lead to problems such as uneven product particle size, decreased production efficiency and increased energy consumption, so the replacement of the crusher liner is very important.

When choosing a cone crusher liner, the following three factors are generally considered: output, power consumption and wear resistance of the liner. Generally, the selection is made according to the following principles: the maximum feed size, the change of particle size, the distribution of feed particle size, the hardness of the material, and the wear resistance of the material. The longer the liner, the higher the power consumption. Choose short linings for hard materials, long linings for soft materials: short linings for fine materials, and long linings for coarse materials. Generally speaking, the material smaller than the discharge port on the closed side should not exceed 10%. If it exceeds 10%, the power consumption will increase, and the product particle size will become flake. The increase in the moisture content of viscous materials will affect the throughput of the materials. As far as the moisture content of the materials is concerned, it is generally not more than 5%. The standard cone crusher should reach 75%~80%, and the short head cone crusher should reach 80%~85%.

The material of cone crusher lining At present, the materials used for cone crusher lining are high manganese steel. The survey results of the service life of some cone crushers installed in China show that the service life of the liners used in various factories and mines is very inconsistent, which is caused by different ore properties and the difference in crusher load. Therefore, it is also very important to choose a reliable crusher equipment manufacturer. The materials used in the production process meet the national production standards and can withstand inspection and wear.
