Jaw Plate
Every jaw crusher has two jaw plates, fixed jaw plate, and movable jaw plate. All jaw plates are manufactured by high manganese steel. In order to extend their service life, the jaw plate shape is designed to be upper and lower symmetrical, so one of the end areas wear out, turn over the jaw plate to continue to use. The fixed jaw plate and movable jaw plate are the main areas when the stone is crushed, and the movable jaw plate is mounted on the moving jaws to protect the moving jaws.
Side Plate
The jaw crusher side plates install on the middle area between fixed jaw plate and movable jaw plate. Their main function is protecting the crusher body. The side plate also manufactured by high manganese steel.
Jaw Crusher Flywheel
Rotational energy is fed into the jaw crusher eccentric shaft by means of a sheave pulley which usually has multiple V-belt grooves. In addition to turning the pitman eccentric shaft, it usually has a substantial mass to help maintain rotational inertia as the jaw crushes material.
